Shipping Info

Longfield Gardens ships according to growing zone. Our goal is to deliver your order one or two weeks before you should plant. We will give you an estimated ship date at the time of checkout, based on your zip code.

When will I receive my order?

Fall-planted bulbs (such as tulips and daffodils) should be planted in mid to late fall. We begin shipping bulbs in mid-September to colder areas (growing zones 3 and 4) and continue shipping through October and November.

The first ship date for winter/indoor bulbs (amaryllis and paperwhites) is early November.

Spring-planted bulbs and perennials (such as dahlias, begonias, peonies) should be planted after the last spring frost. We begin shipping to warmer areas (zones 8-10) in late February. Zones 6-7 ship late March. Zone 5 ships early April. Zones 2-4 ship mid-April.

Where do you ship?

We ship throughout the continental United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

How will my order be sent?

All of our orders are shipped via FedEx Ground Delivery. You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves our warehouse. Depending on what you ordered, it may arrive in multiple shipments.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped.

What are the shipping rates?

During the checkout process, your order will automatically be divided into the appropriate shipping season (spring, fall, winter). To be eligible for free shipping you must spend $50 or more per shipping season.

For example: If you purchase $50 worth of spring product, you will receive free shipping. If you purchase $25 of spring product and $25 of fall product you will not receive free shipping.

We charge a flat rate of $8.50 for orders that are not eligible for free shipping.
