Myrtles Folly is a lovely tall dahlia (4 to 5 feet for me) with enchanting, 6-inch-diameter blooms! I loved the mélange of gorgeous colorsdisplayed in sprays of whimsical petals. I planted Myrtles Folly in two spots in my yard. Despite a light infestation of Japanese beetles, they did quite well! My flower stems were a bit thin and floppy, but I think it was because they had only 4 to 5 hours of sunlight each day. And I forgot to fertilize. I can't wait to grow this one again. I am going to try to save the tubers over the winter and grow them in more sunlight.
Dahlia Myrtles Folly
This American-bred dahlia combines quilled and twisted petals into big powderpuffs of color. The sunrise hues of pale yellow, coral and rose make Myrtles Folly an excellent mixer for perennial gardens and bouquets.
