Ranunculus

Ranunculus

The exquisite, rose-like flowers of ranunculus are often seen in high end flower shops and wedding bouquets. They can be expensive as cut flowers but may also be grown at home in gardens or containers. The plants perform best in full sun and cool weather (50-70°F). Ranunculus corms will not tolerate freezing temperatures, so should be planted in fall (zones 8-10) or early spring (zones 4-7).
