They're beautiful! I ordered and received 4 bulbs, 2 of 2 different varieties from Longfield Gardens this year: 2 Double Giant Amadeus and 2 Single Mont Blanc. Even though I potted them all on the same day (Nov.29), along with a Cherry Nymph amaryllis bulb I received as a gift, they all bloomed perfectly in successions, no two at the same time: week of January 15 - Cherry Nymph, January 25 - Double Giant Amadeus, and now Feb 12 the first of my two Single Mont Blancs is in full bloom. Last night two of the flower buds were open and two more were just starting. Now today all four flower buds are open. They really have kept the post-holiday winter interesting despite all the snow we're getting this year. The Mont Blancs are such a beautiful glowing white color, and if you look close enough there's a very faint red streak toward the edges. I love them all, but so happy with the 2 varieties I picked from Longfield Gardens. Next year I'probably "wake them up" in mid-October all on the same day again so I have blooms starting over the holidays and continuing through early February.
Also a side note if it helps anyone: the bulbs I received did have very faint amount of green mold on the roots. They're fine, but just as a precaution I cleaned them off and sprinkled some cinnamon in with the potting mix to deter any fungal growth. The proof is in the blooms that they were fine and worth every penny.
