Anemones came up in very early spring and withstood light frost. Very pleased with the growth of the bulbs. Having so much color in the garden at the end of winter is just life giving!

Such a cute little flower! It bloomed for such a long time this spring and the only effort I had to make was the initial soak and planting. I highly recommend! I look forward to seeing them bloom again next year!

What took me so long to try anemones? These long-blooming charmers were a delight. Followed the planting combination from the Longfield blog for "A Carpet of Blue Spring Flowers" and these anemones were part of that wonderful patch of blue that bloomed for weeks. Wildlife left them alone too!

I planted in two different locations and literally only one (that’s one) rhizome came up. It’s blooming as we speak. Not another single one was ever in evidence. I’ve had other rhizomes from other sources in years past that performed very well. Disappointment is an understatement!

We are sorry the anemones did not come up. A number of factors can cause spring bulbs to fail. Sometimes it's the bulbs. Other possibilities can become clear when you dig down and examine the bulbs. If they are missing, voles or chipmunks may have taken them. If the bulbs are mushy, the soil may have been too wet.
