Dahlia PomPon White Aster

I planted in 2024 and this was my first yr growing dahlias and didn’t realize that pom pom aster is not a true pom pom. Reached out to Longfield gardens and they refunded me the amount since I felt it was not the dahlia I ordered. Anyway I dug up tubers (many of them) , saved them in my fridge and planted them again this yr in a not so prime area. It’s so prolific it’s unbelievable . I am actually going to reach out to them as I feel guilty for the refund now that I know more about dahlias and realize that it’s a ‘vintage’. dahlia and actually not a true pom pom. I ordered dahlias from elsewhere this yr but I’m going to switch back to Longfield gardens for the future. They’re quality and customer service is unparalleled

Planter 8 different aster varieties along a garage wall, east facing, some southern exposure. They all did well except one but this one was the most floriferous of all. Just fabulous. Kept going until October!!

I use these in almost every flower arrangement! They are the perfect size and the stems are long. Love this flower!

Bloomed early and never quit! Profuse blooms that lasted long in vase.

I placed an order with Longfield Gardens, and did not order a white Dahlia, as it’s not usually my preference. But somehow or another instead of sending what I ordered, I got two of these! They’re quite pretty, although I’ve had to figure out the best way to work them into my landscape in the future. They’re prolific and seem to do best in a support.

I haven't planted them. I'm hoping for a miracle that allows at least one in each clump to grow.
