I have purchase several amaryllis including Sweet Nymph and have enjoyed them year after year. After they bloom in my home, I plant them in my Florida garden and they bloom again in the spring. I am now enjoying them for the third year. They are absolutely gorgeous and when my neighbors comment, I tell them ‘Longfield Gardens’! I wish I could post a picture .
I purchased one for myself and one for gift giving... in each case they bloomed (five flowers) THREE (3) consecutive times from Early Dec. - Mid March!
My first time growing this variety was a big hit. The color was just like the picture and it bloomed for almost 2 weeks. Also, this is the first I e had with an aroma. It was all good! Beautiful plant I’ll be giving as gifts next year.
This amaryllis is stunning and very prolific. I potted up the bulb in early November and my first stalk of blooms (7 flowers!) came up around Christmas time. Then 2 more stalks of 5-7 flowers followed over the next two months, so I have gotten about three months of beautiful blooms out of just this one bulb. Highly recommend!
The Sweet Nymph flowers are gorgeous - sometimes 5 to a stalk and often 3 stalks! Very large beautiful delicate pink flowers with a faint fragrance- the crown from edge to edge almost 12" across. A very spectacular Amaryllis.
Sweet Nymph has been the most successful amaryllis I've ever grown.
This blub is amazing! I had one stem with 5 flowers. The stem was strong enough to hold up these large flowers. Now a second stem started to grow. I am waiting for more of the beautiful pink flowers. When I look at these flowers it makes me think of Spring. With the winter we have had here in MA all eyes are on Spring. Thank you for such an unbelievable flower.
