A highly ornamental selection of Athyrium filix-feminia, a native North American fern. Lady in Red has bright green foliage with contrasting, burgundy-red stems. Clumps are dense, upright and more compact than the species. The plants continue sending up fresh new fronds throughout the growing season. Easy to grow and more sun tolerant than many other ferns.
