Hosta Small Leaf Blue Mouse Ears

(1 review) Write a Review

Every shade garden should make room for this cute little hosta. Blue Mouse Ears grows just 6 to 8" high and 12" wide, and retains its neat, rounded shape even after many years. The thick, silvery-blue leaves hold their beautiful color all season long and are slug resistant. Lavender flowers in midsummer. Named 2008 Hosta of the Year by the American Hosta Growers Association.

One of my favorite Hosta varieties

I love that these can take a little bit of sun. Truly slug resistant, they just tuck in so nicely along a border. I ended up ordering 9 of these for my front yard. They got over a foot of snow in April, which never happens where live. They held on strong. I know i will have them for years to enjoy and i love the blue-green color they bring into the garden.
