Great experience. Received exact what I ordered and on time. Bulbs were very good sized, and there were no rotten or small bulbs! (I’ve had some from other sellers).

In total I purchased two bags. One of blues and one or purples/pinks. I planted them all around my house and patio. This spring was amazing. Hyacinths everywhere! Most of them had a large initial bloom and a secondary flower stalk afterwards. Couldn’t be happier. Will buy more from Longfield Gardens in the future.

I have a story here. Fall 2021 was my first year intensively planting bulbs and first year ever with hyacinths. Half went in the front exposed bed, half in the back sheltered yard. Zone 5b stayed warm for months, howled with drying winds all spring, and spring showers skipped town. These hyacinth - with which I had zero experience - emerged first in front, skimpy and bent over. I emailed Longfield Gardens. They helped me troubleshoot and actually listened and looked at my photos. I upped the water and gave it a week or two, and these blue hyacinths turned into gorgeousness! Big, strong, colorful, healthy, long-lasting, massively fragrant, new favorite bulb. If you have an exposed area where tall tulips would be fighting Mother Nature, my advice is: try these hyacinth.

FYI — The color was lovely. As they aged, I could see a little difference in the blue colors in the mix. From the street, I doubt the color variation would be noticeable between plants.
