Acropolis daffodil
This was my first try growing daffodils. These came up very late for me because I planted it in an area that didn’t warm up until late and is probably too shaded since only half grew and those that did are fairly short. That’s definitely my problem, not a bulb fault. so my review here is of the flower shape and trueness of Longfield Garden’s photo to the actual appearance. The photo and description are spot on. The flower is so pretty, and I really appreciate that the stem holds the flower in line with the stem (it’s not droopy where you have to shove your face on the ground and look up to appreciate some daffodils, or grab and twist it upwards to appreciate it!) The white is a beautiful rich cream soft white without being yellow - its like whipping cream. The orange twists are just gorgeous. Soft and intense at the same time. Just ideal!
