Julia Rose is a great example of what makes Itoh peonies so special. As hybrids between standard herbaceous types and tree peonies, they offer a much wider range of color choices. In this case, the flowers are a combination of rose, coral and buttermilk. As with other Itohs, these plants are shorter than standard peonies and they start blooming about two weeks later.
