Tulip Double Late Gudoshnik Double

(1 review) Write a Review

One tulip with dozens of different looks. Gudoshnik's peony-like blossoms are a bouquet of silky petals and they bloom in colors that range from buttery yellow and gold to salmon, coral and vermillion. Red and orange feathering adds to their beauty. A harmony of warm hues to close out the tulip season.

Double Gudoshnik - good bulbs, description accurate

Posted by Kerry on May 28th 2022

The description here is spot on. These are one variety, and every flowered looked very different ranges on the color palette. Very full when open, ruffly even. The buds are so spherical you might think they were peonies! Strong stems. The bulbs were good, no blemishes or problems there. While it turns out that I don’t care for the way peony-bloooming double late types often have black stamens prominent in the petal folds, the multicolor of Gudoshnik doubles made it less obvious than, say, an Abba tulip.
