    Red impression. Tulips

Posted by Lyn Sturtevant on Jun 24th 2022

I planted 100 red tulips bought in bulk. Every single one grew and was beautiful with the yellow daffodils I put with them. I got a lot of compliments from neighbors. They were gorgeous.

This tulip is so beautiful and very red when the tulips open. It’s very tall and has a strong stem. Definitely put an awesome show in my garden.

I planted several different varieties of tulips. My most complimented were the red impression Darwin hybrid tulips. They were quiet the relief from a very cold winter. Planted in central Oklahoma, zone 7. They would have lasted much longer had there not been a late April ice storm. Looking forward to next year. The other varieties I planted will likely be relocated so they can have more than early morning sun.
