Anemone De Caen Assorted (Spring)

Living in the mountains of Colorado with cooler temperatures, these beauties bloomed all summer.

Loved these, so easy to grow!

I don’t have any experience planting anemones (or planting anything for that matter), but I love anemones, so I thought I’d try. We are in Southern California, zone 10(I think?), and I planted the corms on the last week of January. Our front yard faces south, but it didn’t seem to affect the anemones. I followed the instructions on the bag, and now(first week of April), we’ve got beautiful blooms! I like being surprised what color the flowers will be - there are also combination ones, like white with purple!

I've never grown anemones before this year, but they were a winner. I planted somewhat late (early March?) but they started blooming just 2 months later and continued until August!

I’ve gotten a lot of blooms. The white flowers are actually the ones with the green center and not the black eyed center, which I wasn’t expecting, but they are still beautiful.

bulbs arrived when stated, in good shape, came up no problem and blossomed- just a little later than I thought they would but still beautiful addition..
