Amaryllis Double Giant Amadeus

Color is beautiful!

Very large bulb! First flower (of many) just opened up and looks great. Definitely worth considering!

It is blooming now in a very large pot on my balcony with a large red and large white one. They look fabulous. Plus they so big you can see them from the parking lot downstairs.

This huge bulb quickly sprouted not one but two buds. When the first one opened, I was slightly disappointed there were only 3 florets, but quickly realized there could not possibly have been room for another massive bloom. The second bud quickly opened and now we are enjoying a multitude of absolutely gorgeous blooms. These photos don’t do this stunning amaryllis justice.
You will not be disappointed.

A gentle giant was how a friend described the Giant Amadeus. Shorter stock does not diminish this amaryllis’ beauty. And it is blooming in April, a bonus during a lingering wet spring.

This bloomed so beautifully! I’m so excited to see it again next year!
