Blue flowers have their own special magic and this periwinkle-blue anemone doesn't disappoint. The blossoms have two layers of petals and striking, jet black centers. Lacy foliage complements the flowers. In areas with mild winters (zones 7-11), anemones should be planted in fall for early spring flowers. Provide protection from freezing temperatures. In colder zones (4-6), plant the bulbs in early spring for early summer flowers.

This summer's favorite!

The flowers kept coming from mid summer through early frosts. Will definitely be adding more when they are restocked!

These flowers produced large, beautiful, purple blooms. They grew well in pots, bloomed throughout June and early July (I planted them in early April), and lasted well as cut flowers. Their deep purple color added great depth to June flower bouquets. I plan to grow these again.

In my pictures: In the bouquet, this flower is the purple flower behind the red and yellow daisies. The other photo shows the faded color of a late July bloom. I apparently didn't take any other photos of these flowers.

Very difficult spring, but now there's alot of activity in the flower bed!!

Im on the border of zone 7 and 6, and I did a lot of work that was less than perfect in my greenhouse, i had the worst spring ever with a week of high 80s to 90s in april followed by frost-and 2 days of rain through all April and May.. and these are raging! 5-9 flowers per bulb , on color, still blooming in June. All ranunculus from all supliers didnt do well, but these have filled in and are stunning, prolific. They are not for rookies in zones 6 and north, but thats on you, the quality of corm I received was fabulous and despite my personal errors and weather wierdness that demolished my daffodils and tulips, these are amazing from April through June
