I received three healthy bare roots that I planted in early March. The weather in my area (7b) was still very cold, and I did not see any growth for several weeks. I reached out to customer service thinking there was an issue as the roots appeared to degrade a little, and they told me to wait a few weeks to see how they progressed. A few weeks later as the weather warmed up, I saw huge growth, with new leaves coming up every day on all of the plants. After only a few weeks of warm weather, I have my first blooms! Could not be more excited with the high quality roots I received. Thank you! PSA to other purchasers, make sure you spread sluggo or similar when you plant these roots, because right off the bat slugs became an issue, but this was easily addressed and the roots bounced back quickly from some minor damage.

Searched far a low for these for my wife planted them as soon as I got them and within two weeks, I have 2/3 sprouts I can't wait to pot them up.

Last year I bought Bleeding heart bare roots. They were very healthy and were ready to be planted. It started blooming within a month! This year, their are growing like weed! It is like a bush and pretty flowers are keep blooming one after another. Color is bright and I get a lot of compliments. And they still blooming beautifully in our shade garden.

Got this and planted it last year and it came out so prettily! I am so excited! I am a happy customer indeed!
