I purchased this product in 2025. I live in North Mississippi & we have very hot humid weather. The tubers were nice and clean & disease free. I did let them sprout before planting & left them in a pot until I planted. Once in the ground they did great. I had blooms in early September once or weather moderates into less hot temperatures. The blooms were so pretty and much more prolific than a lot of dahlias I have tried. I hope this one made it through our winter as I leave them in the ground here. I will buy more of this one

We are sorry you are unhappy with the dahlias that you purchased from us. Our dahlias are grown in the Netherlands and are mechanically harvested, washed, sorted and packed. Dahlia clumps can be damaged at any point in this process, and shipping adds yet another opportunity for tubers to break off. We wish it were different, but some amount of breakage is inevitable. The good news is that when you plant an entire clump, you will almost always get one or more sprouts, even if some of the tubers have broken off. It's also important to know that some varieties of dahlias always produce fewer or smaller tubers than others. Weather conditions during the growing and harvest seasons also impact tuber size and quality. Lastly, dahlias can be fickle and simply refuse to grow. This is why we don't hesitate to offer replacements or a full refund. Our customer service team will be contacting you to arrange for a refund or a replacement order.
