The plants are easily 6 feet tall, covered with 10 to 15 blooms. The blooms are 5 to 6 inches and are a strong and attractive deep violet. The stems are long and strong. Altogether these are lovely and healthy specimens.

I'm not a huge fan of lilac color in my garden, but 'Lilac Time' is a lovely shade of medium lilac, not pale and wimpy at all. It bloomed profusely for me with dozens of blooms. What made it stand out even more in the garden was its dark maroon stems. It's a beautiful dahlia. Very happy with this one.
