I had loads of beautiful flowers.

Easily some of the most productive dahlias I planted in 2022. Contrary to the product description, I did not find these to be a great cut flower -- the petals started dropping right away. The flowers are huge and vibrant, some larger than my head! Whether they have more pink or yellow tones seems to depend on the temperature. Warmer temps mean pinker flowers.

Always a favorite, I'm so pleased with how well these grow, with beautiful long stems for cutting.I'm growing in raised beds in Moore Ok (7A) and they overwintered in the ground this year very well.Outstanding performer.

Penhill watermelon was absolutely beautiful! Mine was a little light in coloration due to partly shade, but I still love it.

Unfortunately, the dahlias that came up instead are pure white (which I never order!) And yes, I carefully marked my tubers. What happened? I only ordered dahlias from you this year.

I pre-orderded dec 2022, requested early shipping which they did. recieved in March in NYC (7b I believe), presprouted indoors in individual pots and sterile potting mix- and one tuber grew obvious leaf gall! I uncovered the crowns of the others that had already been put out in the garden and they seem fine, will continue to monitor. Reported to Longfield who immidiately issued a refund. I bought 6 varieties this year, 10-12 last year. 1 in 50 tubers w gall is expected, and why I always presprout. I had an issue with qualty of 2 or 3 I bought last year.. nothing major, no disease, just rough handeling=broken necks and again,they immidiately offered replacement or refund. I will continueto buy here first, every year, but always presprout, no matter where they come from.
