I grew this last year and just loved it!! The tubers it set were HUGE with tons of eyes. I split them and probably have close to 20 tubers already started in pots and growing beautifully. I’m in Zone 6a so they are not yet ready to plant out yet but there’s no question they outgrew all of the tubers I started indoors this year!

This was the only dahlia that grew, thrived and bloomed in the horrifically hot and dry 2022 Texas summer. Grew fairly large and put out dozens of blooms.

Kelsey Annie Joy is the best looking dahlia in my yard this year (and I am growing 30+). A single plant has several blooms always. The only down side is that only one of the tuber grew.

I got a two pack of this dahlia…and one turned out to be a “dahlia Pooh.” This happened with a two pack of Crème De Cognac I bought as well. One tuber turned out to be American Sun. Certainly not what I expected but healthy nonetheless.

Wrong dahlia

Received a plain white single dahlia and I don’t appreciate that Longfield seems to just accept that they send the wrong items to their customers. Writing off that it “sometimes happens”. It messes with my garden design plans and it’s the second time that it’s happened.
