I planted two tubers and both came up with no issues. One of the plants grew to 8+ feet!! My flowers were a little deeper in color and I was extremely happy about that! It was one of my favorite flowers in the garden and one of the healthiest plants.

I have had Lady Darlene in the past and it was always stunning. It's become a sought after family favorite. Can produce some massive tubers as well. Hope to add it to my collection again

Beautiful varieties! One is dinnerplate size in very pale pink, the others have beautiful oranges and yellows and one is a deep purple about 6 inches across. I am very pleased with these dahlias.

Being a first-time buyer to Longfield Gardens I took advantage of a special. I compared prices with other suppliers and found your sale was well worth it. My first impression was the quality of the bulbs. I just knew the flowers would be very beautiful and they are. May, June, July were exceptionally rainy months in MN but the dahlias are doing fantastic. I also was surprised and appreciated the free gifts I was not expecting. I have had compliments. The colors are beautiful and blooms are long-lasting. I share their beauty with others when I decorate the tables at church. This fall I will save bulbs over winter for next spring. It's fine.

Didnt work well for me. While they warn these have smaller tubers, they were some of the latest bloomers, color was much more washed out that photos, and size was average decorative not dinnerplate. As promised it was a poor tuber prodcer despite a very late first frost, a great year for my other tubers. All the new tubers were too skinny, like a thin drinking straw and none survived winter storage. If you plant dahlias as annuals or live where they can overwinter in ground, try it.

We are sorry you are unhappy with the dahlias that you purchased from us. Our dahlias are grown in the Netherlands and are mechanically harvested, washed, sorted and packed. Dahlia clumps can be damaged at any point in this process, and shipping adds yet another opportunity for tubers to break off. We wish it were different, but some amount of breakage is inevitable. The good news is that when you plant an entire clump, you will almost always get one or more sprouts, even if some of the tubers have broken off. It's also important to know that some varieties of dahlias always produce fewer or smaller tubers than others. Weather conditions during the growing and harvest seasons also impact tuber size and quality. Lastly, dahlias can be fickle and simply refuse to grow.
