This distinctive dinnerplate dahlia has enormous pink flowers with hints of violet and lavender. Vassio Meggos' petals taper to a point and curl as they arch back toward the stem. This gives the blossoms an almost spherical shape, like big pink powderpuffs.

I expected Vassio Megos to be a lighter pink but in my garden I was pleasantly surprised by its deeper raspberry color. The blooms were large and the reflexed petals made this dahlia a unique beauty.

Dahlias how beautiful are and big they are and also bloom from Summer thru Fall, are great.

These flowers are easy to grow, and put on such a magnificent show of gigantic, gorgeous color all summer long! Never disappointed!

This is a stunning, beautiful dahlia and I will grow it again. The only reason it is 4 stars and not five is color inconsistencies. 2 of my 3 tubers were bubble gum pink streaked with with raspberry and raspberry centers. Gorgeous but not as pictured. The third was a beautiful blush pink with some creamy yellow. I actually thought it was bahama mama until it curled back and the bahama mama next to it bloomed. I love the colors I received and will try to save tubers from them. But I would not put them in the lavender family.
