Dahlia Assorted Flirty Fleurs Verona Collection

Absolutely gorgeous. Had one issue, squirrels did steal my bulbs early in the season but Thankfully we still had a few they missed! Colors were absolutely gorgeous & dahlias were large!

We live in Zone 6 and I planted the tubers in May. My plants were nibbled to stubs by deer in late spring then they were relocated to give them a second chance to survive. After regrowing and some additional nibbling from deer, they are now blooming in September. These plants are healthy and I plan to save the tubers and try for earlier blooms next year along with deer deterrent.

The Cafe Au Lait and Labyrinth dahlias are beautiful! The HS date isn’t exactly as pictured in the photo, but still it blooms.

The HS date is a surprising love from this collection, the labyrinth is pretty but often quickly shrinks the outer petals. The cafe au lait is very pink, doesn’t like the one shown in the picture. The tube overall sprout rate is so so, but longfield garden is quick to give me new tubes. So I would say the quality control that needs to improve is in the Holland side.
