These ranunculus were bred for the cut flower market and have larger than average flowers on longer-than average stems. The ruffled, peony-like blossoms measure up to 5â€ across and each corm yields multiple blossoms. The color of CafÃ© is a fabulous fusion of gold, terracotta and bronze. In areas with mild winters (zones 8-11), ranunculus are planted in fall for early spring flowers. The plants will not survive freezing temperatures, so be sure to provide protection from extreme cold. In zones 4-7, ranunculus should be planted in early spring for summer flowers.

The colors were gorgeous, paired beautifully with my dahlias. I got lots of compliments!

I ordered this and 4 other varieties and planted them all in crates in a greenhouse after soaking the corms for ~5 hours. This is the only one that didn't sprout at all, instead the corms rotted. The other 4 had near 100% germination and are growing well, so I am pretty sure it's not my process or environment, it's the quality of corms that's the issue.

I purchased and planted these varieties (as well as the Pink/white one); twice in the past 2 years, and very few flowers came up, very small compare to the pictures. the following year nothing, just some green leaves with no flowers, I may try again one more year.
