Amazing color!!

I got it last year on sale. It grew wonderfuly. Many blooms in good size for bouquets and pretty foliage. I dug it up for winter and it did well in storage (compared to other dahlias). It produced lots of tubers and this year I will have 6 plants instead of 2 I purchased. I also left one to overwinter in the ground, Don't know how it fared yet.

Amazing Blooms!

This was my first year growing dahlias, and I got this and the Café au Lait. I was unprepared for how many gorgeous blooms these dahlias would have! Absolutely beautiful! The dark coloring of the plant is also exquisite! Loved them!

I live in North Mississippi so a hot humid climate. I planted on May 15 and had my first blooms Aug. 30. This one is gorgeous and blooms like crazy. The orange is very vibrant. Hopefully I'll see it again as I left the tubers in the ground.

These dahlias are absolutely gorgeous. They grew quickly to approx. 5' and the blooms are crazily abundant! Most blooms are about 3" in diameter and as I write this have been flowering for over a month. Hopefully, I'll have success overwintering the bulbs.

Inconsistant

I purchased this as part of a grouping of dahlias I believe arranged by Flirty Fleurs. It had beautiful dark foliage. One plant was large and lush and the other was smaller. The smaller plant never bloomed. The large plant gave me one lopsided bloom, then teased me for two months and gave me a few small blooms. I am new to dahlia gardening so I may have done something wrong. I will store the tubers and if they survive I am willing to try once more. Longfield Gardens was gracious and offered to make it right just as advertised. They have really good customer service.

It's not uncommon for one plant to thrive while another struggles, particularly with dahlias, which can be sensitive to factors like light, soil conditions, and watering. It sounds like you're already doing many things right, and it's great to hear you're planning to store the tubers for another try. Small tubers

I planted the small, shriveled tubers in containers with fresh potting soil. The plants did grow but only had between 3 and 5 blooms per plant. Some of the flowers were poorly formed.

With proper care — regular watering, deadheading, and a balanced fertilizer — the tubers should bulk up and produce stronger, more abundant flowers next year.
