I grew Petra's Wedding as part of a red, white, and blue garden. I found her to be a vigorous grower, prolific bloomer and excellent cut flower! I saved the tubers in damp coir and started them on a heat mat and they have now produced many sprouts and are waiting for warm weather for outside planting.

I bought Petra's wedding. Beautiful white dahlia. Prolific bloomer the bud just keep coming and coming. Strong stems for cutting. couldn't have been happier. I will be using these dahlias in my daughter bridal bouquet.

The plants grew up fast and healthy and with plenty of flowers through the summer. Only down side is the vase life very short.

We are sorry you are unhappy with the dahlias that you purchased from us. Our dahlias are grown in the Netherlands and are mechanically harvested, washed, sorted and packed. Dahlia clumps can be damaged at any point in this process, and shipping adds yet another opportunity for tubers to break off. We wish it were different, but some amount of breakage is inevitable. The good news is that when you plant an entire clump, you will almost always get one or more sprouts, even if some of the tubers have broken off. It's also important to know that some varieties of dahlias always produce fewer or smaller tubers than others. Weather conditions during the growing and harvest seasons also impact tuber size and quality. Lastly, dahlias can be fickle and simply refuse to grow. This is why we don't hesitate to offer replacements or a full refund. Our customer service team will be contacting you to arrange for a refund or a replacement order.
