These colorful flowers got so many compliments from everyone who saw them this spring

The bulbs were beautiful bloomers this first spring in the ground. A joy to see popping up and with an absolute heavenly perfume that filled my yard. Walking out the door each time and smelling those flowers just made me happy!

Cinnamon-y scent!

Robust hyacinths with a surprise cinnamon-y scent. One star deducted as I seem to have only gotten the 2 darker colors, not the mix as pictured.

They were beautiful at first but quickly drooped as though the flowers were too heavy for the stems.

Thank you for your feedback. This can sometimes happen when the flower heads are particularly full or heavy, especially during warmer spells or if the bulbs were planted in lower light conditions, which can lead to longer, weaker stems.

If you decide to grow hyacinths again, consider planting them in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil to encourage sturdier growth. Supporting the stems with small stakes or planting them closer together can also help them stay upright.
