If your ultimate goal is to grow flowers, this is a hard “no thanks”

I like that they provide a QR code on the bag with recommendations . Lamentably, it didn’t do a bit of good, with these corms. I purchased several other (lilies, peonies, liatris, phlox…). These were the most profoundly disappointing (zero success with x1 purchase), Phlox a close second (LOW success rate, and I purchased x2).

In zone 7, if you can protect your ranunculus with a high tunnel or greenhouse, it's best to plant the corms in fall for late winter/early spring blooms. Ranunculus are cool climate plants and they do not like the heat. Once temperatures rise above 70°F, the plants stop producing new buds and begin to go dormant.
